Details
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is finished in white over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a replacement 351ci Windsor V8 paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a 3.90:1 limited-slip differential. Features include a black hood with a shaker hood scoop, a grille with integrated fog lights, Mach 1 stripes, rear window louvers, front and rear spoilers, power steering, power front disc brakes, 15″ Shelby-style wheels, MSD electronic ignition, an Edelbrock 650-cfm carburetor, and Dakota Digital instrumentation.
The car left the factory finished in Wimbledon White (M5) and was reportedly repainted. Features include a shaker hood scoop, black-out hood treatment, a grille with integrated fog lights, Mach 1 side and rear stripes, quarter-panel scoops, rear window louvers, front and rear spoilers, color-keyed mirrors, sequential taillamps, reverse lights, and a dual outlet exhaust that exits below the rear valance.
Shelby-style 15″ wheels wear pony center caps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The replacement 351ci V8 has been bored .030″ over, and service has reportedly included replacing the battery, carburetor, and spark plugs. The following components have been installed: Scat crankshaft, Icon pistons, Hasting piston rings, Howard’s flat tappet camshaft, Double roller timing chain, Brass freeze plugs, MSD electronic ignition coil & distributor, Edelbrock 650-cfm carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, Taylor ignition wires, Shorty headers.
