Details
This 1964 Lincoln Continental is a white-over-blue convertible powered by a 430ci V8 paired with a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated blue soft top, power steering, 15″ wheels, rear-hinged rear doors, a power-operated bench seat, vacuum-operated door locks, a tilting steering column, and an AM radio. Front disc brakes and an electric fuel pump were installed, and service included reinforcing the convertible top mounts as well as replacing the top hydraulic hoses, driveshaft, and brake master cylinder and hoses.
Steel 15″ wheels wear Lincoln-logo covers and Arizonian Silver Edition thin-whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted brakes.
The 430ci V8 features a four-barrel carburetor and Mallory electronic ignition, and it was fitted with an electric fuel pump. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission and a differential with a 2.89:1 final drive ratio.
