Details
This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner hardtop was refurbished and modified and is now powered by a 496ci V8 topped by a Holley 850-cfm Double Pumper carburetor. Other equipment includes Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, TTI headers, a 3” exhaust, MSD ignition, an aluminum radiator with electric fans, staggered Volk Racing wheels, Wilwood front disc brakes, a Hurst shifter, a Pioneer CD stereo, a four-speed manual transmission, and a limited-slip differential.
Originally finished in Bronze Fire Metallic (T5) with white accent stripes, the car has been repainted and features chrome bumpers, Road Runner graphics, and a driver-side mirror.
Gray Volk Racing wheels measure 17×8″ up front and 18×10″ at the rear and are wrapped in Nankang NS-25 tires. Braking is provided by Wilwood front discs and rear drums.
The factory 383ci V8 was replaced with a 496ci V8 built with Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, an 850-cfm Holley Double Pumper carburetor, TTI headers, a 3″ exhaust, MSD ignition, and an aluminum radiator with electric fans. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.23:1 Sure-Grip limited-slip differential.
