Details
This 1968 Dodge Charger R/T is powered by a 440ci Magnum V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in maroon over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes a black vinyl roof, Magnum 500–style 15″ wheels, front disc brakes, power steering, black R/T tail stripes, concealed headlights, front bucket seats, and Vintage Air climate control.
The car was finished from the factory in red (PP1) and was reportedly repainted maroon with a black vinyl top. Exterior details include chrome bumpers, concealed headlights, round side-marker lights, dual side mirrors, a polished fuel-filler cap, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome Magnum 500–style 15″ wheels feature black accents and are mounted with 225/70 front and 275/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, while a matching spare is located in the trunk.
The 440ci V8 has been rebuilt and features Mopar-branded valve covers, an aluminum Champion radiator, and an MSD ignition system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TorqueFlite 727 three-speed automatic transmission.
